Frequently asked questions
What does RosterBots do?
It watches the starters on your ESPN fantasy football team on game day. When a starter is ruled out, on IR, suspended, on bye or projected for zero, or a slot is empty, it finds your best bench replacement. Depending on your level, it sends you the fix to tap or makes the swap itself before kickoff, and tells you every time.
Which fantasy hosts does it work with?
ESPN fantasy football leagues. Other hosts may come later, when they can be supported properly.
Does RosterBots see my ESPN password?
No. You sign in on ESPN's own page inside the app. RosterBots keeps the session ESPN hands back, encrypted on our server, and never sees or stores your password.
When does it make a swap?
With Auto Protect or Agentic Protection, from 90 minutes until 3 minutes before that player's game kicks off. In the last 10 minutes before each kickoff it checks your lineup every minute, because that's when late scratches happen. Earlier than 90 minutes, it tells you what it plans to do and when.
What about questionable and doubtful players?
They're always your call. RosterBots never benches a starter who is playing, and it only acts on players who are officially out, on IR, suspended, on bye or projected for zero.
Would RosterBots have saved me from the Odunze Incident?
Rome Odunze was ruled out four to seven minutes before kickoff in Week 15 of 2025. RosterBots can still swap a starter three minutes before kickoff, so with Auto Protect it would have benched him and started your best available bench player.
What does Agentic Protection add?
Fifteen minutes before kickoff, if your bench couldn't fill a hole, it can add a free agent: into an open roster spot first, then an open IR slot, and only then by dropping a player you marked Droppable. It also sends Roster Advice a few times a week. It never trades, never claims waivers and never spends FAAB.
What does it cost?
One-Tap Alerts are free. Auto Protect is a $30 season pass and Agentic Protection is $50, and both are half price after Week 8.
When can I get it?
RosterBots is coming soon, on Android first and then iPhone. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it's ready for your phone.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my account. It removes everything RosterBots stored, right away. Without the app, see the delete your account page or email support@rosterbots.com.
